Wisconsin Gouda & Beer Spread
Cheese dips and spreads are staple at get-togethers. We combine classic Wisconsin flavors in this delicious cheese spread!
Ingredients
- 2 lb Castello Gouda Cheese
- 3/4 cup Butter, Cubed and Softened
- 2 tbsp Fresh Chives, Snipped
- 1 tsp Dijon Mustard
- 1/2 cup Amber or Dark Beer, room temperature
- Cocktail Rye, Pumpernickel Bread Slices, or Pinah's Rye Chips for serving
Directions
- Shred or finely chop the cheese to measure 4 cups
- In large bowl, blend shredded cheese, butter, chives, and mustard
- Stir in beer until blended
- Chill until serving time
- Serve spread with desired cocktail bread or rye chips
