Swiss Tuna Melts

A classic tuna melt! Try a splash of hot sauce for an exciting twist!


  • 1 can (6oz) Light Water-Packed Tuna, Drained and Flaked
  • 3/4 cup Vern's Swiss, Shredded
  • 1/2 cup Mayo
  • 1/4 cup Celery, Chopped
  • 2-3 tbsp Butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream
  • 1/4 cup Onion, Chopped
  • 8 Slices Bread
  • Pepper to Taste


  1. In a bowl, combine everything except bread and butter
  2. Spread over four slices of bread, about 1/2cup on each
  3. Top with remaining bread
  4. Butter the outside of the sandwiches
  5. On a griddle or large skillet, over medium heat, grill sandwiches for 4-5 minutes on each side until lightly toasted
