Smokey Wisconsin Cheese Fondue
A cheese fondue perfect for all your favorite Wisconsin events. Gather friends and family for the next big game and enjoy!
Ingredients
- 1 cup Vern's Smokey Cheddar Cheese, shredded
- 3/4 cup Vern's Smokey Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Sartori Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1 tsp. ground dry mustard
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. Dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp Flour
- 1 cup dry white wine
- 3 to 4 drops hot pepper sauce
- 1 loaf sourdough bread, cubed "
Directions
- In a small bowl combine cheeses, flour and dry mustard. Toss to coat
- In a small sauce pan bring wine to simmer
- Add small handful of cheese mixture and stir until cheese has melted
- Repeat process until all the cheese has been added and has melted Add Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and dijon mustard and cook over low heat
- until mixture is thick and smooth
- Transfer to fondue pot and keep warm
- Serve with cubes of bread for dipping
