Cheese products are perishable and must be delivered promptly to arrive in good condition, particularly during warmer weather (above about 70 degrees F). We recommend express shipping (2 day air or overnight) for all orders with cheese. Please consider upgrading to Cold Pack (order is packed in styrofoam with ice packs) at a small additional cost, for orders shipped during warmer weather or to destinations that are outside of the Upper Midwest US (WI, IA, IL, MI, MN). At our discretion, we may hold shipments during warmer weather (typically from May through October) and ask you to upgrade to Cold Pack and/or select a faster shipping method to help ensure product quality.

    Pickle Cheese Inc.

Not as good as pickled cheese from Pickle Cheese Inc. however I have to say that all things considered it was a good cheese.

I’m not sure I got the right Apple Jack cheese. The label is completely different and says Torkelson Cheese Company from 9453 West Louisa Rd. Lena,IL. Don’t taste the apple undertones at all. The block I got was still good but was there a disclaimer posted somewhere that you may not get the exact item pictured when ordering? 2 stars because it was still a good cheese, just not what I thought I ordered.

I do apologize. We were unaware of the label change and the product does in fact come from Torkelson Cheese. Our IT team must have over looked the product description and the Apple Jack cheese does not have any flavor of apple. It is more comparable to a mild brick cheese. So sorry about the misunderstanding.

I grew up near to Apple River where it was originally created. I love this cheese and have been eating it since I can remember. While it does not taste like apples or contain apples it pairs really well with apples! I’m very excited to find it online. I live in California now and have been wondering how to get it recently.
