Shipping Information

  • Vern’s Cheese ships via UPS and SpeeDee Delivery Services, depending which state you are shipping to.  Neither company delivers Saturdays or Sundays.
  • The shipping address must be a street address; PO boxes are undeliverable. Please make sure that the shipping address is accurate.  Vern’s Cheese is charged $10 for incorrect addresses, which the charge will then be passed on to the customer. Vern’s Cheese is not responsible for delivery failures or additional charges due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.
  •  Any order being shipped to Alaska or Hawaii must go either Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air.
  • Depending on weather temperatures from May through October, Vern’s Cheese may use their discretion on holding of the shipment of the customer’s order until weather permits.  The customer may choose to upgrade to an air delivery to receive their order faster.  Depending on the upgrade of the air service chosen, the shipping charges will increase accordingly.
  • Products may be room temperature when they arrive, but their condition will be fine if refrigerated upon arrival.
  • When shipping to warmer weather locations, we recommend you choose shipping in a Styrofoam cooler with reusable ice packs.  There is an additional cost for the cooler and ice packs of $9.00.
    • Please note: This option will help to keep the cheese cool on its journey.
  • Our shipping charges are the actual UPS shipping cost plus $3.00 for handling. This charge covers all packing materials and labor needed to process each order.
  • We like to ship on Mondays so packages arrive no later than Friday.
  • To guarantee Christmas delivery, the order must be placed by no later than December 12th.  Any order received between December 12th and December 23rd will be upgraded to an air service to guarantee delivery before Christmas.
  • Due to the fact that most cheeses are random weight, the shipping charges that are calculated on the shopping cart are only an estimate. After the order is completed and ready to ship the accurate shipping charges will be listed on the invoice.
  • If there are any discrepancies with your order, please call customer service at (920) 849-7717 Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm CDT/CST.  Please call within 24 hours of receiving the shipment.

Credit Cards: We will not charge your credit card until your order ships.  The billing name and address you enter when ordering must be the same as the name and address of record for the credit card.
